Costa Blanca Travel
Alicante airport is located centrally to the entire Costa Blanca and is a full service airport and is 50 minutes from Casa Carmen.
Valencia is a major international airport only 1 hour 20 minutes away and is a good option especially if travelling from Europe.
Taxis are available at the airports although most only carry 4 people. If your party is larger, a variety of airport transfers can be arranged ahead of time. We can arrange airport transfers and also arrange car hire locally in Moraira ahead of your arrival.
Trains
There is a regional railway station serving Alicante, however other than Alicante, trains in Costa Blanca can be limited to the scenic Lemon Train, a coastal railway from Alicante to Denia stopping in Villajoyosa, Altea, Benissa and Teulada to name but a few villages and costal towns along the way. From Alicante there are connecting routes to the rest of Spain.
Denia ferries & Alicante ferries
From the Costa Blanca Denia ferries and Alicante ferries run to the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands. Ibiza can be reached in as little as 2 ½ hours!
